Greetings everyone! I’m Amy from North Carolina! I grew up in Winston-Salem and now live in Lexington, The Barbeque Capital of the World! I attended Wingate College (now University) where I studied Criminology and Sociology, and I graduated from RCC with a degree in Surgical Technology. I worked in surgery and healthcare for over twenty years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.

My husband Brad and I have two beautiful daughters, Amelia 16, and Meredith 10. We all love Disney! Disney World in Florida is our favorite vacation spot and we visit several times each year! Our favorite time to go is Christmas, and we love to attend Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party! Each year our family attends other events like the Halloween party in the Magic Kingdom and it has become an annual tradition for us to go to Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park in the summers.

I grew up traveling all over the United States and the Caribbean with my family thanks to my mother’s career in the Airline Industry. My mom took us everywhere, whether it was to see the Rockettes in the Christmas Show at Radio City every Christmas or going to the Easter Egg Roll at the White House we were always going! My siblings and I were blessed to grow up visiting Disney World, Universal, and visiting Disneyland as well.

As an adult, my love of travel has coincided with my love of history and true crime! I have loved exploring Washington DC especially sites such as the famed Fords Theatre, and one day I hope to return to Dallas to visit the Texas Book Depository and other JFK Memorial sites. Some of my favorite trips are our Independence Day trips to George Washingtons Mt. Vernon or Jeffersons Monticello, Boston’s Old North Church where Paul Revere hung his lanterns, or visiting Hawaii. One day I hope to return to revisit Pearl Harbor!
